I'm Joshua — an Information Technology student at Singapore Polytechnic. I design mobile apps that make complicated things feel simple, working from research and user flows through to the final interface.

UX Design Student · Singapore
I'm in the Diploma in Information Technology at Singapore Polytechnic, specialising in User Experience Design. I got into this because I kept noticing apps that made simple things hard, and I wanted to be the person who fixes that.
Most of my time goes into research and iteration — talking to users, sketching flows, then testing prototypes until the confusing parts disappear. Because my diploma is IT-based, I can also read and write the front-end code, which means my handoffs are realistic and I can build what I design.
Right now I'm taking on freelance projects around my school schedule, and looking for a UX internship where I can learn from a real product team.
Need a design hand for your product, startup idea or school project? These are the things I take on. Every project is quoted individually, so just tell me what you need.
Clean, consistent screens for mobile and web — from a single landing page to a full app.
Interviews, surveys and competitor reviews so decisions come from evidence, not guesses.
Structure and navigation mapped out before anything gets styled.
Clickable Figma prototypes you can put in front of users or investors.
Watching real people use your product, then a clear list of what to fix first.
Reusable components and tokens so your product stays consistent as it grows.
Designs shipped as a live site in Framer, React or hand-coded HTML/CSS.
Simple and transparent. You'll know what's happening at every stage.
We talk through your goals, users and constraints. I research the problem space and competitors.
Flows, wireframes and rough concepts. We pick a direction together before any polish.
High-fidelity screens and an interactive prototype, refined over a couple of review rounds.
Usability checks, then organised files and specs your developer can actually work from.
Yes. I take a limited number of freelance projects around my school schedule so nothing gets rushed. I'll always be upfront about my availability before we start.
It depends entirely on scope, so I quote each project individually after we've talked. My rates are student-friendly — send me what you have in mind and I'll come back with a number and a timeline.
A landing page is usually 1–2 weeks. A small app or multi-page site is closer to 3–5 weeks. I'll give you a specific estimate once I understand the scope.
Both. My diploma is IT-based, so I can hand off clean specs to your developer or build it myself in Framer, React or plain HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Yes — I'm keen on a UX internship where I can learn from an experienced product team. Happy to share my full case studies and resume on request.
A rough idea of the problem, who it's for, and any references you like. If you have existing branding or content, that helps. If not, we can figure it out together.
Whether it's a startup idea, a small business site or a school project that needs design help — tell me a bit about it and I'll get back to you.
